I am Julián Martínez.

NELSON WALKER
 
Raised in Maryland, I graduated from Howard University with a major in film production and a minor in history. While at Howard, I was a prominent member of the Howard University Film Organization (HUFO), serving as Treasurer during that time. My main area of expertise is in post-production, in which I have years of experience as an editor and post production supervisor/manager.  The companies that I've performed these duties for includes Story Syndicate, Henninger Media Services, and Part2 Pictures.  My background in post-production also includes work as an assistant editor with organizations such as Getzels Gordon Productions, Discovery Communications (WilmaTV), Glass Entertainment Group, Lucky Dog Films, and Symbio Studios.   My post experience includes in-office, remote, and hybrid environments from around the country using Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid, and DaVinci Resolve. I also have a history of working in other areas of production as a freelancer, which include assignments as a camera operator, DIT, grip, assistant director, and production assistant.  I also volunteer for numerous organizations and projects, which includes being an AV specialist/editor for the First Baptist Church of North Brentwood and their multimedia operation. Other personal accomplishments include earning the rank of Eagle Scout, as well as being a member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
